Alchemy of the Oil Anointing Priestess:

For thousands of years before biblical times, in the great cultures of Sumer, Babylon, Canaan, and Ancient Egypt, temples dedicated to the divine feminine were often the center of community life. These temples were run by women, priestesses, who served their communities, making welcome all who needed healing and shelter. In these self- sustaining temples, the women tilled the fertile lands growing not only food, but the plants, flowers, and herbs that would be used for healing and anointing.

They would use holy oils in healing and in ceremony—oils that would lift the participants into deeper spiritual states while healing the body. Holy oils were used as medicine, and the priestesses that made and administered them were honored and respected as Scent Priestesses.

Their oils were used in ceremonies for birthing, dying, grieving, fertility and the blessing of sacred unions. Holy oils were used to consecrate rites of passage, and times of celebration. In the heart of the cultures, tribes, and clans that honored the way of the Great Mother, the Scent Priestess was respected as a medicine woman and spiritual guide.

During this retreat on the Red Sea, you have the opportunity to receive the Sacred Art of Anointing, as well as step into advanced training in this Sacred Temple Art. This advanced work is only open to those who have traveled to the sacred temples of Egypt on the Nile tour with Rima in the past, or as an extension of a current trip down the Nile.

If you are traveling with your spouse, he may continue on to the Red Sea with you for a reduced rate. Spouses are invited to join in all aspects of the voyage except the anointing certification sessions. There will be ample opportunity for our partners to participate in activities in and around the resort while we sit in circle, deepening our practice of the Temple Arts.

The 2024 Tour Itinerary
April 11 - April 20, 2024

DAY 1
Cairo

Thursday, April 11th - Arrive in Cairo by 3 p.m. (If at all possible, we encourage you to come a day early)

You will be greeted at Cairo International Airport and escorted to The Four Seasons Hotel. At the hotel, you will be assisted for a smooth check-in. Then relax at the pool and schedule a spa treatment.

Dinner will be on your own.

(Please keep in mind that you may need to leave your country on Wednesday, April 10th, to arrive in Cairo on Thursday, April 11th)

DAY 2
(Cairo) Private Visit to Sphinx & Giza Plateau / Visit with Gamal at perfume shop / Private Sunset Visit to the Great Pyramid

Friday, April 12

Early morning, we will have a Special Private Visit to the Sphinx and the Giza Plateau. Here you will walk between the magnificent paws of the Sphinx, who sees all our incarnations on this planet and keeps safe the Hall of Records, where our stories are held. Feel the power of our ceremony to anchor in all that Egypt has shown you thus far.

Over lunch, we head to Giza for a potent afternoon with 5th-generation alchemist Gamal Abdul. In his magical shop, we will experience the 7 Sacred Oils and receive direct instruction from him on the chakra system.

Following our time with Gamal, we will have a Special Private Sunset Visit inside the Great Pyramid with a culminating initiation in the King's Chamber. Here we unite our life stories with those who have come before us and those who will come after as we embrace the transformation we have experienced on this journey. Feel the energy of the spirits as we are off to discover some of the most awesome Wonders of the World. Our guide, who is an encyclopedia of Egyptology, will give us detailed examinations of various controversial theories surrounding these amazing structures.

DAY 3
(Cairo) Saqqara Step Pyramid / Unas Text Pyramid / Visit with Gamal

Saturday, April 13

After late breakfast and time enjoying the hotel, we enjoy lunch near Saqqara, where we visit the most impressive of dozens of Old Kingdom Pyramids and tombs on the West Bank near Ancient Memphis, including the oldest pyramid, the Step Pyramid of Djoser, and its temple of sound and healing.

About 2630 B.C. Imhotep, the architect to King Djoser (Dynasty III), masterminded the Step Pyramid at Sakkara. The world’s oldest freestanding stone structure, this Pyramid consists of six tiers atop a mastaba, or low, oblong tomb, faced with cut stone. This magnificent site includes other Old Kingdom tombs, including those with the earliest known hieroglyphs and The Pyramid Texts (Unas) that were the model for the Egyptian Book of the Dead.

In the evening, we will visit and have an advanced anointing workshop with famous perfumery and meet Master Gamal for a second, more in-depth workshop on the higher chakra and goddess oils.

Watersports of all kinds are the premier pastime in Sharm El-Sheikh, and after a rewarding day on or under the water, you can recount tales of your adventures in one of the city’s lively bars. Other attractions range from traditional souks to protected nature areas and eclectic religious sites.

DAY 4
(Cairo) / Overnight in Iberotel Palace, El Maya Bay, Sharm El Sheikh South Sinai

Sunday, April 14

After breakfast, we will head to the airport for our morning flight to the Red Sea. Situated at the Gulf of Aqaba's mouth on the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula, Sharm El-Sheikh is the original Red Sea resort town. Visitors who flock to the city for a change of scene after the Egyptian interior's dusty temples can expect beautiful beaches and world-class reefs for snorkeling and scuba diving.

After arriving in South Sinai, we will enjoy a seafood lunch in the old market and soak up the atmosphere. We check into the hotel and relax for the afternoon. We will meet up again for dinner and stroll over to the Old Market to see the mosque lit up and walk around the market.

Al Sahaba Mosque is at the heart of the Old Market. This mosque looks like something straight out of One Thousand and One Nights, both inside and out. It’s open to visitors, but women must be relatively covered to enter (no beachwear or skimpy outfits). It’s also beautiful at night when it’s lit up from the exterior.

DAY 5
Climbing Moses Mountain & St. Catherine Monastery / Lecture with Herbal Meister

Monday, April 15

Teaching circle, free time to enjoy the resort and spa, swim in the ocean, rest. Possible Optional Glass Bottom Boat Tour & Diving Tour or Optional Quad Biking Tour.

In the evening, we will take a 2.5-hour bus ride to Saint Catherine’s Monastery. Start climbing Moses Mountain beginning at 1:00 am, Climbing the whole night (4 Hours) to enjoy Mount Sinai and to see the sunrise from atop Moses' Mountain. An optional camel ride can be acquired for $40 if the hike is too strenuous. Return to town in the morning.

Tour of Saint Catherine’s Monastery - located in heart of Sinai Peninsula at a height of 1570 meters in the place where according to the tradition Moses saw the bush on fire which didn’t burn up. It is in the foothills of Gable Moses or mount Sinai, on whose summit Moses received the tables of the law with the ten commandments inscribed. The monastery of St. Catherine dates back to the age of the emperor Justinian in the 6th century, but the monastery was named for Saint Catherine at the beginning of the 11th century in honor of Saint Catherine, one of the earliest Alexandria Christians martyrs.

We will try to arrange an herbal lecture with one of the most well-known Herbal Doctor in St. Catherine. Transfer back to Sharm. Integration Day at the hotel- Circle time in the evening.

DAY 7

Wednesday, April 17

Free morning to enjoy the resort and spa, swim in the ocean, rest. Afternoon Visit to Heavenly Cathedral & Al Sahaba Mosque.

Al Sahaba is Sharm’s most beautiful mosque; then the Heavenly Cathedral is Sharm’s most stunning church. While it’s not as impressive from the outside as the Sahaba Mosque, its interior is a different story. Its frescoes, murals, and artwork led it to be considered one of the most beautiful churches in the world upon its completion in 2010.

Dr. Rima Bonario

This is my fourth time leading a sacred journey to Egypt, and I can't wait to return. Helping people to discover and take action on their passions in life is one of my greatest joys.

Having earned a doctorate in Transformational Psychology, I love to support people in creating lasting transformation by focusing within to connect with and be guided by their soul's knowing.

My passion is supporting women to awaken and amplify their sacred feminine sovereignty. I teach the underlying energy patterns that keep us stuck repeating old, hurtful life choices so that they can heal those hurts and craft a fulfilling, soulful, mission-focused life. My studies with master energy teachers, the ancient art of Tantra, years of shadow work, and the art of transformational psychology are the foundation for my coaching and teaching approach.

I am the founder of Bloom Fine Egyptian Oils and share the sacred art of anointing as a portal into deep transformation. Creating sacred ceremonies and rituals to heighten soul-level connection is one of my specialties.

Tj Bartel

Tj Bartel is an Energy Teacher and Transformational Coach who is a master at manifesting in alignment with his Soul-Mission. He will bring his transformational teachings and unpack the energy principles at the heart of successfully living your Mission.

To aid in this, Tj has developed a powerful energy practice called LEAP: Life-force Energetic Alignment Protocol to upgrade the body’s energetic operating system. It is this system which is at the root of life's challenges.

He will provide LEAP sessions to the women participants to move stuck energy, unwind and release limiting beliefs, heal from past hurts and resolve old wounds so you can rebalance and achieve a healthy, well-tuned, vibrant energy system.

Noha Aly and Hatem Aly

We are so blessed to have Noha Aly and her husband Hatem Aly at the helm for our trip. This beautiful couple has been welcoming sacred travelers to Egypt for two decades.

Noha is a trained Egyptologist who is intimately familiar with the spiritual side of the Egyptian mysteries. She brings her extensive knowledge of how ancient Egyptians understood the world through their relationship to the stars. Having her as our guide will allow us to go deeply into the miracles and mystery of ancient Egypt.

Hatem is a wizard at planning and execution and will make sure our entire trip is seamless from the first moment to the last.
